Along with the standard Civil Engineering services (conceptual planning, site design, permitting, planning, Project Management, consulting and other servicest), we offer the following additional services.
For engineering companies we offer stormwater modeling expertise and modeling using ICPR and Hydraflow for $50 per hour in general (please contact us to get specific pricing).
In the Orange and Brevard County area we are now offering services for engineering firms, real estate professionals, investors and land owners at a cost that is hard to believe. This is because of our low overhead and the emergence of GIS information:
1. Site specific initial investigation (FEMA, Wetlands, Soils, USGS, proximity to Outstanding Florida Waters and Class II or III waters, proximity to protected or special areas, proximity to species that are protected (gopher tortoises, scrub jay, bald eagle nests, etc. Limited to the extent of data we currently have. Additional studies may be necessary), expected recharge areas, zoning, governing authorities, etc. Report will include color aerial, FEMA map, Wetlands from NWI (with code describing wetlands), Soils with Hydrologic group, USGS map and a summary sheet for all other areas. Turn around time is usually within 2 to 3 hours from time of payment/order. Cost for this first item is $100 per property.
2. Site specific feasibility studies. A more in-depth look into the usability of a particular site for intended uses. Minimal conceptual planning items are included as well as the above investigation. Cost starting at $300.
3. Site specific conceptual drawings (including building, vehicular, sign setbacks, landscape buffer requirements, vehicular parking layout, impervious area estimates) plus all items from service number 1. Cost starting at $500. Call for more information.
4. GPS locating services for planning (ditches, fire hydrants, etc.) within 20 miles of downtown Orlando $10 per item located with a site visit fee of $50.
5. GPS locating services for planning (ditches, fire hydrants, etc.) within 20-30 miles of downtown Orlando $10 per item located with a site visit fee of $100.
6. GPS locating services for planning (ditches, fire hydrants, etc.) within 30-40 miles of downtown Orlando $10 per item located with a site visit fee of $150.
7. GPS locating services for planning (ditches, fire hydrants, etc.) within 40-50 miles of downtown Orlando $10 per item located with a site visit fee of $200.
8. GPS locating services for planning (ditches, fire hydrants, etc.) outside this range (call for quote).
9. Permitting, Final Plan preparation, Platting, Project Management, public meetings, are per contract agreement (normally lump-sum or hourly).
Conditions for GPS locating services:
1. GPS location services usually have a turn around time from 1-3 days.
2. Items located will be shown in AutoCAD, pdf, tif or jpg format with identifying tags.
3. For AutoCAD, please specify UTM17 or Florida State Plane East coordinate system desired.
4. Site must be accessible by car and not require walking more than 0.25 miles to site.
5. Items to be located must not be more than 0.25 miles apart or additional location fee will apply.
6. No underground utility or other items are included.
7. Additional fees may apply to hard to access sites, dangerous or hazardous conditions, special equipment required or other related items.
General Conditions:
We will coordinate with your surveyor, geologist, environmentalist, soils engineer and others, but those services are not included in the above pricing and are usually paid directly to the providing vendor.
For engineering firms
We offer services to help offset those crunch times. Services include the full range of Land Development engineering with an emphasis on stormwater modeling. Typically, ICPR modeling and Hydroflow modeling fees are $50 per hour or lump sum, as agreed on.
